Avocados

Avocados while not cheap or easily available in your local Indian markets can play an important part in helping you deal with Psoriasis. Considered to be a polyunsaturated fat (good fats), it is extremely healthy for your skin and beneficially when dealing with Psoriasis especially when coupled with nuts and consumed in moderation.

Recipe: Avocado Bhel

Ingredients

2 avocados chopped

1 ripe tomato, chopped

1-2 green chillies (depending on how much spice you want in your life)

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

salt and pepper to taste

1 lemon juiced

½ bunch of fresh coriander chopped

A drizzle of olive oil

Puffed rice (preferable baked)

Baked puris / toasted bread

Aloo Shev (Leave out the shev for a healthier you)

Method

Mix all dry ingredients together first. Add lemon juice and drizzle of olive oil just before serving and mix well

Additional tasty tip: If you’re nutty for nuts, add peanuts for that added crunch
