Things Nobody Told You about Warts and Homeopathy

27years old Amit had been to a barber shop to get his beard shaved.  He did not pay attention whether the barber had changed the blade he used for him. 24 hours after being exposed to the infected blade he developed an eruption on the neck and right cheek. He tried to pick the eruption and ended up having a few more on the areas of the face which he touched after picking the eruption. He was afraid as it looked ugly. He visited a dermatologist and was diagnosed having warts. The doctor cauterized it but it recurred after a few days of cauterization. Then he opted for homeopathic treatment where his complete case history was done. After complete case analysis he was given homeopathic medicine. Within 15days all the warts had disappeared and he still continued the treatment for next 6months to prevent the recurrence.

What are Warts?

Warts are benign (non-cancerous) skin growths that appear when the virus infects the top layer of the skin. Warts are caused by Human Papilloma Virus. Children and young adults are more prone to develop warts. Warts are generally painless. People who share same towels, infected sexual partners, new-born – through infected birth canal, contact with infected hands are the common mode of transmission of the virus. Though largely harmless, warts can be quite disfiguring at times which is a source of cosmetic and social embarrassment. Warts may appear as small, flat smooth lesions and sometimes as rough, hard growths on the skin. Warts are generally skin colored, though they can be darker or lighter than one’s skin color. Warts may occur one at a time or in clusters. Although warts can occur in any part of the body, the most frequently affected areas include the hands, feet, genitals, face and neck. Your doctor will be able to diagnose and recognize a wart easily.

How does Homeopathy help in treating Warts?

Homeopathic treatment is found to be more effective in treating warts than conventional methods of treatment which are generally painful and cause blister formation, have higher recurring rate and cause scarring of the skin. Homeopathic medicine helps in painless removal of warts through natural medicine. It heals the warts without scarring. Homeopathic medicine is patient specific so it given after detailed case study of the patient. Homeopathic medicine helps to prevent recurrence of the disease by improving the immunity of the body which helps the patient to build a strong body defense system. It helps the patient deal with social embarrassment. Homeopathy improves the quality of life of the patient.
