The name, Dr Batra's today is synonymous with homeopathy. The man behind the brand, Dr. Mukesh Batra, L.C.E.H., F.H.M.A. (UK), F.S.R.H., (MED.) P. (LON.), M.D.H. (U.S.A.), F.B.I.H. (U.K.), is a homeopath of international repute. A pioneering entrepreneur who has revolutionized homeopathy across the world over the last 40 years, Dr. Batra is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Dr Batra’s group of companies which encompasses the largest chain of homeopathic clinics, day-care aesthetic centres, and health and wellness products. The first to initiate standardized patient care, electronic case histories and electronic data management systems in homeopathic practice as early as 1982, Dr. Batra is globally acknowledged for his unparalleled achievement of fusing homeopathic healing with state-of-the-art technology.

Born on July 1, 1951, Dr. Batra received his medical degree in homeopathy in 1973. Embarking on a mission to heal people holistically, he transformed his dream into reality by nurturing a single-clinic practice into a comprehensive medical network that has treated over 1 million patients. It now comprises of over 225 state-of-the-art homeopathic clinics and 400 doctors including MDs and specialists across 133 cities in India, the U.K. (including one at Harley Street), Bangladesh, Bahrain and the U.A.E. (at the prestigious Dubai Healthcare City, Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Al Nahda).

Professional Achievements:

Dr. Batra shares his rich clinical experience, research and innovative methods through his work and has trained over 500 doctors including MDs in the U.S.A. and the U.K., and is the first Asian homeopath to be awarded Honourary Fellowship by both British and American professional homeopathic institutions. He is also the only Asian homeopath whose research and clinical cases are included in a film (shot in Hollywood) used as course material for post-graduate homeopathy studies all over the world. The only Indian homeopath to address the American Pediatric Association at its international convention, he was also invited by the All-Party Parliamentary Group to address the House of Commons, U.K. on homeopathy. Dr. Batra has been honoured with the Padma Shri for Medicine in 2012 by the President of India. The award is India’s 4th highest civilian award by the Govt. of India.

  • Dr. Batra has pioneered the use of technology to provide scientific support to homeopathy. He introduced electronic medical records in 1982, among the first in the world to do so.

  • The most recent ’13 Steps To Bloody Good Health was written in collaboration with Best Selling Author Ashwin Sanghi.   • Dr. Batra introduced the world’s first cyber clinic in 1997 when the internet was still a new phenomenon. He is also listed in the Limca Book of Records in 2004 and 2005 for treating the largest number of patients online - whopping figure of 4.5 lac in 87 countries.
  • Dr. Batra is the first Asian to deliver the keynote address at the Homeopathy Society, London whose patron was the world-renowned violinist Yehudi Menuhin.
  • Dr. Batra has propagated the science of homeopathy through many popular writings in leading newspapers in India and abroad, such as the TOI, Indian Express, The Observer, The Illustrated Weekly (ran their longest running column for 10 years) and many more.
  • Dr. Batra co-produced and anchored a tv show with UTV for Zee TV - The Positive Health Show - India’s first regular health show that ran for three and half years non-stop.
  • Dr. Batra is the former member of the Governing Body of the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, nominated by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Govt. of India
