Thyroid

I am just 30years old but I have been noticing since last 6 months that I get tired very easily. I wake up every morning with zeal of achieving my targets for the day but I end up getting extremely tired without much physical work. It had become a cause of worry for me and I visited my regular homoeopathic doctor. After hearing all my complaints he advised me to get my thyroid hormones checked. I was found to be suffering from an underactive thyroid. He then prescribed me homoeopathic medicines and I was asked to keep a check on my thyroid hormones. Slowly I started feeling better and gradually I gained back my lost energy.

We are not talking about a normal fatigue after a strenuous physical exercise, hectic day or after a late night. This fatigue is a debilitating one. You may require a nap in the afternoon just to survive until dinner time. Or you sleep for 10-12hours but still wake up exhausted. You are less able to exercise, and your endurance is low because of lethargy or weakness. You may just walk around tired and brain fogged out on the same amount of sleep that used to leave you feeling refreshed.

There are a number of important things to know about the connections between fatigue and thyroid conditions, and one of the most important thing is to know about improving your energy and fighting fatigue are explored here.

Hypothyroid occurs when the thyroid gland fails to produce enough thyroid hormones. Hypothyroid is more common in women than men and the incidences increases with age.

Unexplained weight gain, constipation, Sluggishness, Fatigue; Lack of Energy, Dry skin, Depression, Increased sensitivity to cold, Impaired memory, hair thinning, Muscle aches and pains, Heavier than normal or irregular menstrual periods, slower heart rate are common symptoms of Hypothyroid.

A routine blood test for thyroid hormones would confirm the diagnosis.

Healing with Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy helps to produce thyroid hormone naturally by stimulating the immune system and helps in better functioning of the thyroid gland.

Homoeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body’s own healing capacity by encouraging the body to reactivate hormone secretions.

Homeopathy is free from any side-effects.

Homoeopathic medicines help to reduce stress if any and rebuild self-confidence because it deals with the patient as a person and not only the disease.

Conventional medicines could lead to more exhaustion or tiredness which is a minor side-effect seen with these medicines but with homoeopathy there is no such side-effect.

Homoeopathy improves the body’s immunity which in turn helps to keep the thyroid gland functions normal.

Homoeopathic medicines are not addictive and do not damage any other organs of the body unlike conventional medicines.
