Dr Batra’s plans to add 150 new outlets by 2016

Homoeopathic clinics chain Dr Batra’s plans to add 150 outlets by 2016, as part of its network expansion strategy, targeting tier II and III towns.

The company has tied up with Franchise India as franchise solutions services partner for its expansion.

The chain has 109 outlets at present and it plans to a total of 150 new outlets by by 2016 March.

In the first year, the company plans to come up with about 50 franchise outlets in the tier II & III markets under FOFO (Franchise Owned Franchise Operated) model, while in the second and third year, it aims at rolling out 100 outlets, the company said in a statement.

Dr Batra’s is targeting cities like Ludhiana, Agra, Dehradun, Amritsar, Nagpur, Vadodara, Aurangabad, Jaipur, Udaipur, Thane, Nasik, Lucknow, Ranchi, Kanpur, it added.

Commenting on the partnership with Franchise India, Dr Batra’s CEO (Products) Hari Nair said: “Not only have they helped us in following the correct store format to penetrate our presence across cities but also customised market and opportunistic strategies based on our convenience.”
