Skin and Hair Care Tips for Brides
Rejuvenate Your Digestive System:
You most probably heard this before. Yes drinking plenty of water helps. But also eat a balanced diet with lots of natural fibre like flaxseed. This will detoxify and clean the digestive system. If you take care of your digestive system it will take care of your skin and hair.
OK I don’t like to exercise at all. But if you want to look your best on your wedding day then hit the gym. If you don’t want to join a gym then do something at home or just go to the neighborhood park for a jog or an hour of brisk walk. If you wedding is some time away you should start now. If you are standing right close to your wedding day you should start anyway as this will help you in the long run.
Avoid Bad Hair Day On The D Day:
This is the worst case scenario! A beautiful bride with bad hair and cameras clicking away. Visit a trichologist (hair and scalp doctor) asap. Use mild shampoo. Do not use a shampoo which has sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). Use a conditioner which suits your hair type.
Take Care Of Your Skin:
Chart our a skin care regimen. Use a body lotion to moisturize the skin. Well moisturized skin is soft and supple. Use a soft towel to dry the skin. Don’t ignore hand and feet. Use moisturizer on hand also. Wash your feet with soap water twice or thrice a day. If you are shopping a lot then take care of your feet on returning home.
Eyes. Aah Eyes!:
To take care of your eyes for the wedding day eat food rich in Vitamins A, E, and C. Consider taking vitamin supplement. If fish is your kind of food eat lots of eat. Popping a one cod lever oil pill a day is also not a bad idea. If your job involves staring at a computer screen (or a TV screen for that matter) for long hours then wash eyes with cold water at regular intervals.
Don’t ignore your beauty sleep girl. Develop a sleep routine. Sleep for at least 7 hours a day. Your skin will thank you for this.
