Dr Batra's Clinic inks pact with Steven's institute

Chandigarh: Dr Batras' Positive Health Clinic Private Limited (DBPHCL) has signed an alliance with Steven's Technology Institute in London, which specializes in problems related to hair loss.

This was revealed by Dr Ambika Chaudhary, City Head of DBPHCL after the inauguration of Dr Batras' Super Specialty Homeopathy Clinic at Mohali today. The inaugural ceremony was performed by Haryana Governor A R Kidwai.

She said in collaboration with the London-based firm, DBPHCL will upgrade its knowledge for treating patients suffering from hair loss with latest techniques in India. Dr Batra's areas of expertise was hair care since hair loss was a major problem in India, she added.

Dr Chaudhary also revealed that DBPHCL had become the world's first Homeopathic Healthcare Corporate to be awarded ISO 9001: 2000 certificate for maintaining quality in imparting healthcare to the people.

Giving details, she revealed that at present 275 highly qualified, full time doctors treat lakhs of patients every year in Dr Batra's clinics.

As many as 9.56 lakh patients have visited the clinics to get treatment about various diseases so far, she claimed.

She added that DBPHCPL was aware of its social responsibilities towards the poor as its Centers had adopted orphanages and old-age homes where more than 1,600 street children and old people are being provided lifelong free treatment.

She stated that studies revealed that depression problem had been widely detected in the Chandigarh population mainly due to an increasing number of retired personnel who had made the city as their homes. Retired individuals lead a solitary life and suffer from loneliness which is the root cause of depression, she said.
